Card Tickr ("we", "our", or "us") is a sports card portfolio tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information.
When you use Card Tickr, we collect and store the following:
• Account information: the email address and password you use to create an account.
• Card data: information about the sports cards you add to your collection, including player, year, brand, set, card number, variant, grade, grading company, purchase price, purchase date, quantity, and any notes you add.
• Sales history: sale prices and sale dates for cards you mark as sold.
• Portfolio snapshots: periodic summaries of your collection's estimated value, cost, and card count used to plot performance over time.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as error logs, crash reports, app version, device model, and operating system version that help us keep the app running and diagnose issues.
• Analytics events: anonymized records of how you use the app, such as which screens you view and which actions you take (for example, scanning a card or adding a card to your collection). We use these events in aggregate to understand how the app is used so we can improve it.
We use your information solely to provide the Card Tickr service — storing your collection, estimating card values based on recent sales, tracking portfolio performance, and letting you sign in securely across devices. We do not sell your information to third parties and we do not use it for advertising.
Card Tickr relies on a small number of third-party services to function:
• Supabase — used to store your account and collection data.
• Third-party card marketplaces — used to retrieve publicly listed sold prices that power value estimates. We do not send your account information to these services.
• Sentry — used to capture crash reports and runtime errors so we can fix bugs. Reports include a stack trace, your account email and user ID (so we can reach out if needed), the app version, and device/OS information. They do not include your card data, photos, or passwords.
• PostHog — used for product analytics so we can see which features are working well and which need improvement. Events include the screen name, action taken, your account email and user ID, and basic device information. They do not include your card data, photos, or financial information beyond aggregate counts.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles any data we transmit on your behalf. We do not sell this data to advertisers and we do not use it for advertising.
You have the following rights regarding your data:
• Access: you can view all of your card and portfolio data at any time from within the app.
• Deletion: you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Profile screen. This action is irreversible.
• Export: you can request an export of your data by emailing us at support@cardtickr.xyz.
We retain your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your collection, sales history, and portfolio snapshots along with your authentication record.
Card Tickr is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email.
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact us at support@cardtickr.xyz.
